Adventure is always subjective

A vacation home that's located in the heart of nature.

Enjoy the experience of living surrounded by mountain wilderness in comfort. Remotely located away from all, accessed by a 4WD road in summer.

The lodge is self catered, with modern facilities and accommodates up to 12 guests. For private family and group holidays.

Built in the classic mountain design of wood, stone and steel, situated deep in the spectacular Selkirk mountain range.

* All near lodge guiding and wildlife orientation  is included with your stay. Your host is always near to make your experience comfortable, educational and safe.

Walk in magical forests of giant trees. Rockhound, gather berries. Wander along the majestic river connecting one magical point to another. Stand on snow in mid summer, scramble over boulders, follow creek beds to exotic waterfalls.

Set up a wildlife capture camera. Observe trout leaping before your eyes on their own journey, or play in the mud in the spirit of Hucklberry Finn...all minutes from your door.

Enjoy breakfast on the deck with mountain rock walls your backdrop and the sound of flowing water.

A private waterfall, to relax, read a book, cool down, or nap beneath.

Relax inside by a cozy fireplace. Enjoy a library that's filled with classics, mountain culture and history. Lose yourself in the lodge's extensive map collection.

Go further....

Bicycle along isolated roads, ford rivers and creeks, beyond road washouts.

Hike to the alpine, enjoy mountain top views in silence, away from crowds.

Seek out abandoned historic mine sites, experience the past.

Enjoy a valley visited by few.

     Private waterfalls, minutes  away.

....in parts the valley is enclosed by very steep and imposing slopes, many places presenting precipitous cliffs and outstretching spurs of fantastic shapes. Waterfalls and cascades are of frequent occurrence, and drop from great heights in sheets of crystal spray. Belts of blue-green spruce border the stream and every now now and then expand upward to a considerable height.
